We are a not-for-profit CIC (community interest company) which means that
all our ticket and refreshment income goes into our running costs and any
surplus back into running the cinema. Film distributor fees are at least £35%
plus VAT on every film we screen.
So keeping the Electric Palace alive is a constant challenge and your support
helps us maintain our rich and varied programme and keeps the cinema
surviving and thriving.

Hire the cinema for your private party or event. Three-hour slots are available
during the week and select weekends.

Volunteer
You can support the Electric Palace by offering your time to join our volunteers -
as front of house ushers, marketing and social media support and even
co-curating a screening strand.
Our team is encouraged to collaborate on programming and curating ideas and
our marketing volunteers are busy behind the scenes creatively promoting our
programme and building our audiences.
