Our Auditorium All to Yourself
Enjoy a private cinema experience at the Electric Palace. We have the technical expertise,
attention to detail and event experience to turn your idea into an unforgettable occasion.
Boasting 4k screening facilities and a comfortable and stylish environment, the cinema
auditorium is an ideal space for private screenings, talks, and live performances as well as
presentations, film launches and Q&A events. Located on the first floor, the space has an
integrated café bar area plus an additional, second floor, breakout-session room.
Our Space
Private use of the screening room and bar from £185.00 + VAT* weekdays and £225.00 +
VAT* weekends
Screen (48 Seats)
Our seats are not removable but there is an optional small staging area perfect for
post-film Q&As or intimate performances. We can set up additional chairs and provide
microphones. Speakers can join remotely and appear live on the big screen.

Your content can be provided in MP4/H264 or as Blu-ray/DVD. We kindly ask you to
supply us with a copy as early as you can and arrange a time to test, to ensure you are
happy with how it will appear on the big screen.
We’re available for hire seven days a week, 09:00-10:00 (later licence available on request).

Venue Hire Terms and Conditions for The Electric Palace Cinema, 39a High Street,
Hastings - Last Updated 16th April 2026
1. There is a minimum booking value of £150.00 excl VAT for the auditorium and £30.00
ex VAT for the Breakout/Meeting Room
2. Once your booking is confirmed, you will only be able to make changes until 1 week
prior to the screening date.
3. Payment is to be made by electronic funds transfer or over the phone via debit/credit
card.
4. Any alcohol consumed on the premises must be bought from the bar but you can
bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks.
5. The venue is not accessible earlier than the hire start time so please build your
preparation into the timings and ensure that all guests are notified of your start time
when invitations are sent out.
6. The period of hire means the period from which is detailed on the invoice for the hire.
If you wish to extend the period of hire you must contact us as soon as possible.
7. In the event of the Hirer cancelling or postponing the Hire, the following charges will
apply: More than 21 working days before event: 20% of the total hire charge Less than
7 working days before event: 100% of total hire charge.
